Love Is The Rhythm By Andy ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I've been the girl with her skirt pulled high Been the outcast never running with mascara eyes Now I see the world as a candy store With a cigarette smile, saying things you can't ignore." Jay sat back on his heels trying to make everything flow in his head; he chewed on his lip thoughtfully. Bob walked into the room and looked at him with a raised eyebrow, to which Jay just shook his head and stood up. "So, we going or what, Lunchbox?" he asked. Bob motioned for him to go onward and Jay couldn't help but smile; he had been looking forward to going to this club for a while now. He and Bob strolled down the street, following the thrum of the bass all the way to the door. Jay surveyed the line and could see there were quite a few hot girls there that he was going to have to try his luck on. He strolled calmly up to the front with Bob close behind him and tapped the bouncer on the shoulder. "Yo," he said to the man, "hows about you let me and my tubby friend here in and we slip you a little a' that chronic shit?" The bouncer raised his eyebrows as if to say 'Are you fuckin' serious?' Jay raised his eyebrows back and shifted a little so the man could see Bob, who, even though he was shorter than the man, was quite intimidating. "Yeah, sure," said the bouncer stepping aside and holding out his hand. Jay smiled and placed a bag of weed into his hand as he walked in with Bob close behind. Jay picked up the beat immediately on entry to the club and started to dance a little. Bob just shrugged off his coat and went to sit down. "Mommy I love you Daddy I hate you Brother I need you Lover, hey "fuck you" I can see everything here with my third eye Like the blue in the sky." Jay sauntered over to the bar and ordered two drinks, then went and found Bob. "Here tons a' fun," he said placing the glass in front of the man, "maybe this'll get you to loosen up a bit." He knocked back his and danced out to the floor. Bob stared down at the drink and then drank it down. He wasn't sure why Jay always made him come to clubs with him other than to get inside, he never did anything but revel in the hotness that was Jay dancing. Then he thought again, 'No that's not a bad reason to be here' and he smiled to himself as he turned to face the dance floor. Jay was having a good ol' time with a bunch of girls around him. One of them handed him a drink and he knocked it back and threw the glass onto the floor where it shattered into a million pieces. He would have only danced for a few minutes had it not been for the fact that all the girls kept buying him drinks; by the time he finally stumbled off the dance floor everything was spinning like crazy. He took a few steps forward before the whole world decided to turn on its side without him. He fell sideways and felt someone catch him. He looked up into the large brown eyes of his muscle. "I've been the girl- middle finger in the air Unaffected by rumors, the truth: I don't care So open your mouth and stick out your tongue You might as well let go, you can't take back what you've done." Bob pulled Jay to his feet and supported him against his body. Jay just smiled at the man and ran his fingers through his hair, this made Bob shiver and take a sharp breath, which only made Jay smile bigger and do it again. "Yeah you like that," smirked the blonde. Bob tried to ignore it while he helped Jay over to the table where he had left his coat. "I bet you got a boner for me you gay fuck," sneered Jay as Bob placed him in a chair. Bob turned around to grab his coat and immediately felt Jay pounding at his ass. He stood back up and quickly turned around giving Jay a reprimanding look and trying to ignore the tightening of his pants. "You wanna get fucked don't you Lunchbox?" said Jay with a laugh leaning towards Bob and kissing him, it wasn't a regular quick kiss either it was a hard, passionate kiss. Bob was startled at first but then started to enjoy it trying to make himself believe it wasn't just the booze in Jay making his do this. "So find a new lifestyle A new reason to smile Look for Nirvana Under the strobe lights Sequins and sex dreams You whisper to me There's no reason to cry." Finally Bob pushed Jay away from him as he gasped for breath. "What?" asked Jay looking at him funny. "Don't you want this?" Bob shook his head grabbing Jay by the arm and leading him out of the club and back down the street to their apartment. As soon as they were inside Bob walked to his room and closed the door. He sat down on his bed and looked for something to take his mind off the throbbing in his pants and the realization that the only way Jay was ever able to feel something for him was after toomany drinks. Bob closed his eyes for what seemed like only a few moments but was suddenly awoken by a timid knocking at his door. As soon as he opened his eyes the sun coming through his window blinded him. He sat up rubbing at his eyes and walked to the door, slowly opening it. Jay stood there looking very sheepish. "I wanted. I wanted to talk to you about last night," he said quietly. Bob moved out of the way and he walked in dragging his feet. "I just wanted to apologize for what I did, I mean I know that I was drunk and stuff but. still, I feel really bad 'cause it was, it was just not very cool of me I guess." Bob stared at him for a second, was he really apologizing for last night, was he really telling him he was sorry. 'Sweet Jesus hell just froze over', thought Bob raising his eyebrows up. "What? Don't look at me like that you tubby bitch," said Jay angry that Bob was surprised. 'Oh, I take it back', thought Bob with a laugh. "You take what you get And you get what you give I say don't run from yourself, Man, that's no way to live." "Aren't you gonna say anything?" asked Jay, still angry. Bob smiled at him and cleared the space between them with a few steps keeping his eyes locked with Jay's. "What are you doin' Lunchbox?" asked Jay uncertainly eyeing Bob. Bob just smiled bigger catching Jay around the waist and pulling him in for a kiss. Jay's hands clenched and unclenched on his shirt and Bob was surprised to feel him kissing back. Finally he pulled away and looked Jay in the eye. "What was that?" asked Jay when he had caught his breath. "Pay back for last night," said Bob with a smirk. "Is there more?" asked Jay smugly. "Is there more," Bob laughed shoving Jay onto the bed. "God your voice is like music, make me wanna dance," whispered Jay sharply in Bob's ear as he climbed over the blonde. Bob smiled remembering for a moment once when Jay had danced in the rain. "Are you gonna make me dance?" asked Jay as he licked at Bob's ear. "In so many ways." "If God is a DJ Life is a dance floor Love is the rhythm You are the music If God is a DJ Life is a dance floor You get what you're given It's all how you use it."
